Welcome!
Wonderful to see you here.
Life has become very complex and we are managing so many aspects of our lives at once, no surprise that stress takes over easily and we find us just reacting to situations in our private and professional life instead of purposeful participating and creating. A sense of challenges or being stuck, health issues or unhealthy lifestyle choices can result from it.
Spaces for Well-being is my invitation for you to change this. Opportunities to creatively explore, reflect and reconnect body, mind and spirit. How? By combining my passion and knowledge of Yoga, and Social Pedagogy. Both holistic sciences to be empowered to actively build the life you want.
By allowing space in our busyness to pause, to contemplate, to dream, to explore… we nurture the space within us for happiness, ease, joy, peace, insight, gratitude and new horizons.
This looks and feels differently for everyone. My offer is to facilitate a safe space for you with the diversity of methods from social pedagogy, Yoga and Mindfulness to reconnect to this rich re-source in you, to tap into your unique strengths, creativity and oasis of peace within you. Enhancing and building your resilience.
Nurturing your relationship with yourself is benefiting hugely the relationships in your social and professional network and in your community because actively caring for you enhances the care you are able to give to others, to our society and the environment.
Social pedagogy is a professional approach which combines education and care, based on humanistic values. It is rooted in the understanding and knowledge that one can positively change and influence disadvantaged situations through education. In its holistic view, social pedagogy regards everyone as rich of inner potentials and resources and is concerned with the well-being, happiness and inclusion of people.
Social pedagogy sees each individual embedded in social and ecological environment and aims to empower people of all ages to self-directed improvement and change of their life circumstances and in mastering their day to day life with all its complexity and uncertainties.

True yoga is not about the shape of your body, but the shape of your life. Yoga is not to be performed; yoga is to be lived.
Yoga doesn’t care about what you have been; yoga cares about the person you are becoming. Yoga is designed for a vast and profound purpose, and for it to be truly called yoga, its essence must be embodied. Aadil Palkhivala, Fire of Love...

I am a social pedagogue specialist in humanistic counselling, health promotion, education and community work and a Yoga teacher for children and adults.
With over 20 years of experience in the social care sector - working in mental health, residential child care, fostering and in three change projects - I have founded Spaces for Wellbeing to offer my expertise and knowledge.
My wish is to empower individuals, groups or organisation to reduce stress and to increase awareness, compassion, mindfulness and wellbeing to improve & strengthen the quality of relationships, release unhealthy patterns and unlock new ways of being.
I enjoy exchange, dialogue and collaboration because I believe together we can go much further, enriching each other’s life and finding ways to respond to questions, challenges and needs of our time.
